Polymer Nails are made of a custom synthesized blend of plastics. They are different than all other artificial nail products due to the type of chemicals used to create them. For instance, gels seem to be exactly like polymer nails however the chemical make up is much different. Gels typically are made by mixing traditional acrylic liquid and acrylic powder together before it is sold to the consumer.
There are a number of Polymer type products currently being manufactured. I have chosen to use Forzé Polymer exclusively because I have had experience with a number of the other companies and have found the Forzé team to have the highest level of integrity and honesty as well as the best form of the Polymer product line, to date.
Forzé Polymer does NOT have any known cancer causing agents or reproductive toxins in its formulation such as some of the other artificial nail products may. (Methylene Chloride in particular. Found in a number of Bonding agents. Methylene Chloride is a known cancer causing agent and is on California's Prop 65 list noted as such.)
Forzé Polymer is the perfect product for those who have had allergic reactions to other product and can not have those products on their nails any more or for those who are simply ready for healthy, natural looking, beautiful nails.

| FORZÉ ROCKSTAR NAILS are created by using the Forzé Polymer product line and adding a large and/or small cut glitter of your choice to our Forzé Clear Color Base Polymer and polishing it on in whichever design you choose. Some clients like the entire nail covered, some like only the tips, some like to mix it up and do both. The sky is the limit. PLEASE BE ADVISED: We DO NOT use the SPRINKLE method to apply glitter. We polish it on. What is the SPRINKLE method? It is when the nail tech sprinkles glitter on top of the gel product they are using on you. The problem with this is that many of the techs who do this catch the fallen glitter either on a paper plate or paper towel, place the glitter back into the container and reuse the glitter on other clients. Sanitary? Not so much!!! |

Safe Removal Of MMA Acrylic Nails
MMA (Methyl Methacrylate Acrylic) nails are made with chemicals that have been deemed "poisonous and deleterious" by the FDA (Food & Drug Administration). They are usually very inexpensive, never lift, have an extremely powerful chemical smell and are nearly impossible to remove by yourself without causing mild to severe damage to your natural nails. The process of removing this type of acrylic nail can be a lengthy one. Please allow 1 hour for this service. Upon removal of this product, you can add a manicure or a Full Set of Forzé Polymer nails. (additional fees will apply)

I started doing this in 1999, when I worked at Peter Anthony's Studio in Park City, Utah. It consists of applying a custom blended Forzé Polymer color to your toe nails and curing it. The beauty of this service is that when the polymer is cured, you will be able to immediately put your shoes on. No more drying time, no more smudged nail polish, no more chipped polish.

ROCKSTAR, glitter, bling… it's all the same and we have been doing it since 1999. Regardless of the size of the glitter, large or small cut, it's all ROCKSTAR. The difference between us and them is, we use Forzé Polymer to custom design your nails. You will NEVER see us using the "SPRINKLE" method because we believe it is neither professional nor sanitary. We will always custom blend your choice of glitter and/or pigment per your request then apply it to your nails in a polishing method, then cure under a 9-watt light. We take every precaution and sanitize and disinfect all of our tools. We never use the same file or buffer block on more than one client. We ALWAYS keep your health, safety and well being at the forefront of all we do. Some people say we are extreme; we say, better safe than sorry.
Note: Please be advised that, although we would love to have you as a client, if you have any indication of infection or possible fungus on your feet or toe nails, we will not be able to fulfill your service request until the issue has been treated and resolved.

Formaldehyde Resin has been found to cause allergic reactions. Toluene has been placed on California's Prop 65 list an a reproductive toxin. DiButyl Phthalates have been found to cause damage to baby boys who's mothers were highly exposed to this chemical during pregnancy.

Your feet will soak in a warm foot bath, the toe nails will be trimmed, cuticle area groomed and callus areas will be smoothed. You will then experience a warm exfoliation foot scrub and a soothing foot mask. Topped off with a wonderfully relaxing leg and foot massage. Finally, your choice of polish color will be applied to your toe nails.

I remember when I created this pedicure and started offering it to my clients at Peter Anthony's Studio in Park City, Utah. It was winter time and it was snowing. My client wanted a pedicure but didn't want to wait for the polish to dry. I suggested we apply a custom blended polymer color to her toe nails and then do the pedicure. Imagine her surprise when I showed her how this could be done. She loved it and never had a regular pedicure again. She thought it was the coolest thing: putting her boots on immediately after we were done and not having to worry about her color getting smudged or ruined!

This is the pedicure for anyone who needs serious help with dry, cracked heels and feet. We start by having you place your feet in a warm foot bath for an extended soak. We will then apply callus softening products and use techniques that will slowly remove and soften the callused areas. We will also shape the toe nails and groom the cuticle area topping it off with an awesome foot and leg massage and the polish color of your choice. This technique and process is lengthy but the outcome is well worth it. You will without question emerge from this treatment with softer, nicer looking feet.
Note: Monthly Spa Pedicures are suggested after having this pedicure in order to maintain nice looking feet on a constant basis.
